Species management plan discussion forum in Eger

On 3 November 2005, the first discussion forum about the Imperial Eagle Species Management Plan took place at the Károly Eszterházy College in the town of Eger, with the participation of 55 guests.

Invited guests were:
- Active members of the Hungarian Imperial Eagle Working Group,
- Representatives of state nature conservation institutions (NANC, National Parks, Inspectorates, etc.),
- Experts involved in the preparation of the action plan.

Presentations introduced the audience into the planned structure and contents of the management plan. After each presentation participants had the opportunity to comment and discuss what they have heard. The minutes taken during the entire event will ensure that opinions will be incorporated into the final version of the plan.
